INVESTMENTS AND BUSINESS INTERESTS
 

Through his family office and family trust, Eddie has or has had considerable business interests in Oil, Motor Racing, Sports, Property, Gaming, Entertainment as well as Health and Fitness.

He was a shareholder in Celtic Football Club and he is an investor in Kinmont Advisory (corporate advisory business) and was a partner of Clareville Capital (hedge fund founded by David Yarrow).

Eddie has also been on the Advisory Board to Citi Private Bank. 

​

In 2018, Eddie was instrumental in his long time friend Richard Hadida’s (one of the founders of Evolution Gaming) successful bid to acquire Oyster Yachts. Eddie served as a Director on the Board until June 2021 when he then became the brand ambassador for the luxury yacht builder.

Eddie also has heavily invested in property, through a commercial real estate property company (Bunbury Holdings Limited), as well as investing in various residential development projects, house builders and residential portfolios. He also owns land which houses a PGA golf course, and has also invested in a land bank in Bulgaria, for which Norman Forster designed a resort.

In July 2021 Eddie was linked with a $1bn bid to buy the OpenBet business from Scientific Games alongside Keith O'Loughlin. Eddie is a long time investor in the Gaming space with investments in Entain, Scientific Games and Evolution among others.

In addition to his managed investment portfolio, Eddie has invested in many private equity investments.  These include Toscafund, Valeo Foods, Jarvis Hotels, Debrett’s, Zwift, Apex, Coople (Recruitment), Docplanner, Spring Studios, George & Dragon (PR and Marketing agency), ReadyRoom (healthcare company in South Africa), and Ceiba (healthcare tech company).
